The DjVu viewer plug-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape Navigator and Safari is the primary means of viewing DjVu documents. The plug-in enables users to view and navigate a DjVu document, and zoom and pan in real time.
To download DjVu Viewer please click on the link specific to your PC. You do not have to pay for the DjVu viewer.
Depending on the speed of your internet connection the download can take a few minutes.

Once you have installed the viewer, click the following link, marked “sample image”, to check that the viewer has installed correctly.
If you can see a sample image for births registered in January, February and March 1900, then the viewer has downloaded successfully.
The viewer must be installed on every computer on which you wish to view the site. You only have to install once per computer.
