OSIS
The Operator Services Information System contains the names, telephone numbers and addresses of all the listed telephone records held by every telecoms supplier in the UK.
Also known as the Directory Enquiries database, it is the database used by the 192 directory enquiry service and the new 118 directory services.
OSIS contains 17 million telephone records, 13 million of which are residential.
Approximately 50% of UK households are Ex-directory and therefore not listed on the OSIS database.
The Electoral Roll
Also known as the Voters Register, the Electoral Roll contains the names and addresses of almost every UK adult over the age of 18. The current Electoral Roll on 192.com is for the years 2008 - 2009. 192.com also holds archived Electoral Rolls from 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. In addition, through 192.com's Business Services we provide access to Electoral Roll data from 2002 - 2009.
Businesses use it to verify the identities of customers and trace people who have moved. With over 50% of the population Ex-directory, the Electoral Roll is the most definitive residential database in the UK.
Dun & Bradstreet UK Marketing File
This database contains details of over 2.3 million active companies, and their addresses. With line of business searching, this database provides enhanced business search functions not available on the OSIS database.
Derived from Companies House data, UK Marketing File Data is updated on a monthly basis.
The Local Data Company (LDC)
The Local Data Company (LDC) gathers comprehensive data on retail businesses and other points-of-interest in over 30 town centres across the UK. This data is licensed to a wide range of industry sectors, from directory companies and property companies to the GIS sector, e-businesses and borough councils. LDC's unique data collection methodology has engineered a step-change in the accuracy, depth and refresh rates of retail data. LDC updates its database every 20 - 26 weeks using a network of regionally based Field Researchers, delivering unparalleled levels of accuracy and depth of data, including images of every business. With a network of Field Researchers & Photographers across the UK, LDC collects bespoke data on behalf of an increasing number of clients, including property companies and borough councils. Projects range from visiting and verifying un-contactable businesses to photographing commercial buildings.
Land Registry
We publish prices for over 6 million properties in England and Wales. This information includes the type of property, the price and the date on which it was last sold.

Director's and Shareholder's Database
The Directors' and Shareholders' Database contains detailed information on over 2.3 million companies and 6 million directors and key contacts. It includes directors' home addresses and dates of birth. It also includes detailed financial information on companies from turnover to No. of Employees. Director and company reports can be downloaded online.
Derived from a number of sources, from Companies House to telephone research, the business database is updated on a monthly basis.

XSearch™ is proprietary search engine technology developed over five years to interrogate Electoral Roll data. It now delivers some of the most powerful search facilities for Electoral Roll data.
Search Functions include:
- Address Search: search using any criteria from a full or partial postcode, county, town, village, street or door number.
- Forename Search: Search for Jocelyn Smith not just J Smith.
- Relationship Search: Search 'by association' i.e. search for every John Smith who lives with Mary Reynolds in Luton.
- National Search: search using just a name, no location is required.
